Visiting the Folks Back Home

We were way over due for a visit to Grandma's house! Cassandra was all excited to go see Grandpa and the cows.

Of course Jase was excited to go anywhere! He is so easy going!

Grandma was feeling pretty good today or at least she didn't let me know any different.

One proud GRANDPA. He just adores Cassandra!

I told Grandma that Jase gave the best hugs and kisses that ever existed and she agreed! He is such a sweet boy!
Now when I say lets take a picture, Cassandra always tilts her head. Oh me..... I've created a monster!

As I said earlier.......ONE PROUD GRANDPA!!!! Everytime I say I'm going to take pictures, my Dad never complains. It's just so strange to see how much he cares for Cassandra and Jase. I'm totally amazed and shocked.

Play Date at our House

Okay......it was the kids turn to have fun this weekend. We invited some of Cassandra's old classmates from Camelot to our house for a play date. They had a blast, as you can tell by these pictures!
Even Baby Jase enjoyed the older kids.  He just acted like he was one of them.  I guess he is a big boy now!
This is handsome Colten.  He has really grown tall since the last time I saw him.
This is Rayleigh and Makenzie!
And cutie pie, Maddi Holmes with a mouthful of whip topping squirted in her mouth!

Diving at Blue Lagoon

Yep, diving again the following weekend at Blue Lagoon (Aug. 16). This is an old picture (but you get the same story). We went diving at Blue Lagoon, the first place we went where we got certified. My camera has been in the shop being fixed. Can you believe it, I wore out my shutter button? I can't imagine why that would ever happen? LOL.......Teresa kept the kiddo's again for us and we made it home just enough time for me to take Cassandra to a Birthday party at Power Sports for McKenzie O'Quinn who turned 4 years old. (sorry no pictures ;-( camera broke....remember????

August Lake Travis Trip

August 8, 9 and 10 we spent the weekend with our friends and family at Lake Travis. We had a big crowd and we were very pleased with such a great turn out. We made room for everyone and I "think" everyone had a good time. The food was delicious and the weather was perfect for the lake. I just love this picture of Cory.....he looks like a turtle with a bunch of babies on his back. Awe........

Cassandra really loves her Sissy, Holley.  They play really well together.
Isn't Rylee adorable.  She is starting to get some hair.  I really like this picture of her, too!
Here's Katie soaking up some rays!
Jase loves the jet ski and Robin felt safe riding with us since I had my boy with me!
On the way home we stopped at a dive location "Windy Point" and went diving with Brian while Teresa and Katie watched our kids for us.  We had a blast but it was pretty hot and boring for the kids, so we only got to go on a one tank dive.  But.....it was fun!  A complete stranger pinched me on the bootie when we were about 28 feet deep in the water.  He said, he thought I was his wife.  But it was funny!  Okay...that's my fond memories about that trip.  LOL

Brunson BBQ

We have been enjoying 5 weeks with Dada home. Whew.....we have been busy. We started off with Vacation Bible School, then the Brunson's had a family gathering and invited us on Aug. 2nd.  Talk about a big family.  It was really neat meeting everyone and trying to figure out who was who.   This is Dave and Nellie Brunson and 5 year old Austin.

You know who these people are!
But can you name everyone in this picture?  I think I can now!
It was hot and they were thirsty!
YUMMY!!!!!!

Cassandra's First Haircut

It was time to let Cassandra have her first hair cut. She was so excited but was very disappointed that Mommy got to go first.
This is a before shot.  Her ends of her hair were a little straggly and needed a little nip.
And this is afterwards.  Now, she has a nice curved cut across look to her hair.
And of course, her hair looks better than her momma's.  (She didn't like my hair at all)  She said it was all messed up.  I think she was right!
And of course, a smile is worth a thousand words.  Isn't she beautiful?  (well, okay....I guess I'm a little biased......but I can't help it).  She was so excited to get curls, I guess now, I'm going to have to start curling her hair.  Oh me.....
