Ike, Tina doesn't live here!

Ike, Tina doesn't live here is one of the signs that we saw spray painted on ply board across window's of a business. I thought that was funny and wished I had my camera to take a picture. Luckily for us, we were spared from the bad storm. I feel truly blessed and I really feel sorry for the folks who are having to do without electricity, food and who lost their homes. You don't realize how fortunate you are until you have to do without. My Grandma, Dad and Brothers in Cleveland are without electricity but their homes are okay. I was able to buy a generator yesterday for them and met my brother in Huntsville to deliver it to him. On my way there, I saw lots of trees blown down on homes and in the road in Madisonville and Huntsville. And both towns were completely without power. So, we really were blessed because we didn't even loose electricity. Anyway......here are a few pictures of the kiddo's playing with the rakes (I did all the real work, LOL). Cory will be spared from cleaning up the yard, too. He called and they are fine and was also glad to find out that everything was good at home, too.   Thank you Lord for keeping us safe!

Jase's Solo

Well, Cory and I might have to consider giving Jase piano lessons, too. Awe.....isn't he sweet!

Awana's Baby It's Cold Outside

The kiddo's were asked to dress up last night as if it was cold outside at Awana's. So, as you can see by the pictures she pretended for about 5 seconds and then the whining started......MOMMA, I'm hot. (it was about 95 degrees outside) Anyway.....they were cute while it lasted. We are really enjoying Awana's. This was our second week!

Isn't he handsome with his shirt too little and his pants too long?  It was the only white shirt that I could find and he really wanted to wear his boots.  And the pants are just too adorable, they are size 2T Wrangler's but they are about 6 inches too long for him, so they just bunch up around his boots.
He is just so smoochable!

Kindermusik Time

It's time to go to Kindermusik. This was Jase's first official class as a student. He did pretty good considering but he was a little shy and timid at first. Cassandra goes to a class all by herself now. She went with no problem at all. She says she is a big girl.  Anyway......we had a lot of fun on our first night and here are a few pictures that I took to remember the experience.

There is nothing like having your big sister around to show you the ropes and to boss you around.

I got this.  Just because my bag is almost as big as me doesn't mean I can't handle it!
Ugh....it's too heavy can someone help me carry it.

Cassandra was so excited to get a new backpack.  She wanted me to take her picture of her wearing it.....so, here you go....a picture of Cassandra's back.
I'm helping my little brother....it's too heavy for him.........Ugh........MOMMA can you help me......these are too heavy for me too!

Coloring So Good and Brotherly Love

Cassandra has all of a sudden started coloring really great. It was about two weeks ago we were at a restaurant and she colored a picture while we were sitting at the table and she gave it to me and I was shocked. I knew no one helped her so I was really taken back how she went from scribbling a few lines here and there and now coloring the whole page with lots of color. Anyway.....I guess you could say I'm a little proud of her. I talked to her teacher about it and she said she is one of the best colorers in the class, that she is doing a really great job at coloring for her age (3 1/2 years old) She also said that she was really smart too. (just thought I'd mention that ;-) too). LOL Anyway.......here is her beautiful picture that she colored at home.
She knows her Mommy is proud of her!
This is handsome Jase blowing me kisses and winking at me.   He's going to be a heart breaker!

Dance Lessons have Officially Started

Let the fun begin....we have had a busy week but like my husband said, "this is only the beginning and I better get used to it". Cassandra started dance lessons yesterday. She was so excited. I told her that she looked so cute and she said, "Momma, I toot?" I said, "yes, baby, you toot!" Anyway......here are a few pictures of my toot baby girl.

Smiling and profiling!
Tap your toe!
Adjust your leotard!
And bend like this....
And tada....your toot!
