Downtown San Antonio

Whew....this is Monday in Downtown San Antonio. If you are wondering what there is to do......I can advise you to bring LOTS of money. We started off going through the Alamo which was the only thing that was free! Then the spending started. This is Lucas at Ripley's Believe It Or Not!
Jase trying to escape from his Mom and Dad's watchful eyes!
Well, that's one way to keep up track with one of them!
Yea....finally a decent group family photo! Everyone is at least looking at the camera!
Gotta do a "group" photo of you guys too!
OH me....what is this all about? Are you about to perform surgery on someone?

Mirror Maze was fun!
We went through the Children's Museum in San Antonio and it was pretty cool. They had a lot of different things for the kids. I think they really enjoyed it! This is Jase milking a cow.

This was some type of peg board that you could put your hand print through from the other side. Of course Mr. Lucas had to take it one step further and put a face profile. Pretty clever!

And I think this was Lucas' favorite part of the day. The Laser challenge! I have to admit it was fun even though I stinked at doing it. I probably had the record of being the slowest through the maze.

And another group photo when we stopped for a break for snocones at three bucks a pop!
Great idea dad...put Jase's in a sippy cup! He loves holding his Momma's finger all the time. He wasn't too impressed with the wax museum. Bat Man scared him!
Then I got some therapy on the Dr. Phil Show. Now I'm good to go.
We really enjoyed our mini vacation and spending time together with Sharon and Lucas. Thanks for having us along!

Sea World

OUr little mini vacation included an outing to Sea World. We practically had the entire park to ourselves, which is a little scarey. Is it the economy or was it too early in the year before all the tourist get out? I don't know?

Lucas is getting cuter every time we see him!
He was really great with Cassandra and Jase! He rode on the rides us adults didn't want to.

Well.....okay...I am still a kid and can handle the kiddie rides!

No, we didn't put Jase in a cage.....but we thought about it! LOL
We didn't last long in the 4D movie. Once the Bumble Bees started sworming toward us and stung us on our booties...it was time to get out of there!

The kids loved seeing HAPPY FEET!

Here is my little winner! While Lucas and Keisha were spending all their money trying to win a stuffed animal, Cassandra went and picked up ducks in the duck pond and brought back a prize for everyone! You go girl!
I think this is where Lucas was trying to read the map. Are we lost?

See......no tourist around to ask to take the "group" picture for us. I had to do it! Awe man!

Well, at least I was in this horrible picture. Cory you look just too happy and kids, what are you looking at????

And finally Shamu makes an appearance!
Whoa.........what a whale!
I was amazed at how long the trainers stayed under the water. There were a few times I began to wonder.....did the whale swallow them?
Cassandra loves her DADDY!

This guy was quite entertaining!

All you have to do IS BELIEVE!
WE had a WHALE of a time in San Antonio, Sea World.

Picnic in San Antonio

We took a little mini vacation and joined Sharon and Lucas in San Antonio while they were down visiting her parent's. We started off enjoying a huge meal at the park. There was turkey, dressing, ham, corn casserole's, green bean casseroles and a lot more!!! The German Chocolate Cake was to die for. I totally blew my diet the entire time I was down there! YUMMY...real food tastes so good!
Dada spending quality time with his girl!
Cutie pie!

Sweetie pie!

Curtain climber!

Rug rat!

Mommy spending quality time with her girl!
Lucas' cousins with his Grandpa and Grandma in the back ground!

The whole gang!
We had a lot of fun and again the food was SO GOOD!!!!!

Cassandra on Pancake Day

Saturday, March 28, 2009 was Cassandra's 2nd public dance performance and she bombed! I felt sorry for Robin and Teresa and Brian who woke up early to come watch her because she just stood there. She said, she was cold and that's why she didn't do anything on the first dance. She did do a little bit more on the second dance but not that much. Maybe she is just not a dancer!
I think this was on the second dance. She at least moved her arms a little. OH me!
Stage fright? Freezing cold? or Being stubborn? Not sure!
She likes watching everyone else dance!

Hummm......her end of the year May recital is coming up....I guess the fate of her future dance lessons may hang on her participation during that event. We will see!!!

Just a couple more pics

I had to add this picture to the Birthday collection of pics. (and a few more)
My Girl!

I think she had a fun Birthday!
She specifically asked for little ponies for her Birthday party and not big horseys. We were very proud of her for not being scared of them! Way to go big girl!

Awe her cake. I specifically ordered for the black pony to be on the chocolate side of the cake and the white pony to be on the white side of the cake. Pretty clever, huh? Not that it really mattered once the first cut was made, but you get the idea. LOL

Cassandra's 4th B-day party

I cannot begin to put all the very cute pictures on here tonight from Cassandran's party. The kids were all just too cute and we all had so much fun! This is Jase, who is about to paint a pony with his hands.
He's thinking about it.......should I do this????
owe.....they made me do it.
time out....Sissy is riding around with Jayden and Jason's puppy Duce.
We were so proud of Jase for riding "Oreo" the pony.

He looks like a natural cowboy.

Here is Raylee Robinson. Isn't she a cutie pie!

Along with Makenzie.

When do I get another turn to ride the ponies Mommy?

Yea....finally at last!
Giddy up horsey!
It's Sebastian's turn!
And last but not least the Birthday girl's turn!
